Ron is the founder and principal of NAVAJO (Noise And Vibration Analysis JObs) Technical, he is a MIBoC (Mobius Institute Board of Certification) CAT IV Vibration Analyst, accredited BSc, and has been involved in machinery vibration and acoustics for 40+ years. Beginning with IRD Mechanalysis (now Rockwell) in 1977, he spent 4+ years providing consulting field services to Ontario industries. After a short time with Schenck-Trebel, where he gained an intimate knowledge of dynamic balancing applications, Ron spent 23 years with Bruel & Kjaer, a world leader in sound and vibration measurement. Throughout his career he has provided formal training seminars, workshops, and was employed as a contract instructor of sound and vibration at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in Burnaby, BC. More recently Ron worked with PRUFTECHNIK an innovative leader in laser alignment technology, and condition monitoring solutions. Currently, in addition to his NAVAJO Technical consulting activities, he is a Senior Instructor for CAT I, II, and III vibration analyst courses with certification thru the CMVA and/or MIBoC
